Jeanette Escudero was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005. During law school and for the first year of her legal career, Ms. Escudero worked for the State Attorney’s Office as an intern and then as a Prosecutor. During her time at the SOA, she tried a number of successful misdemeanor, juvenile, and domestic violence cases before deciding that criminal law was not her passion. In 2007, Ms. Escudero opened her own law firm, concentrating on real estate law, where she handled residential and commercial closings as well as foreclosure lawsuits.
After the birth of her twins in 2011, Ms. Escudero made a career change and was hired at HR ON Demand as a Senior Consultant, where she remains today. As a Senior Consultant, Ms. Escudero has conducted hundreds of trainings to employees and employers in both English and Spanish. In her current role, Ms. Escudero works as an independent Federal and State Labor Law Consultant, providing compliance consultation services to both attorneys and employers. She frequently assists employers in Department of Labor investigations as well as EEOC complaints, including attending mediations on the employers’ behalf.
In her spare time, Ms. Escudero enjoys writing. To date, she has published 15 books under a pseudo name and frequently speaks at writing conventions.
